I am a creative technologist and design researcher currently residing in Los Angeles, California. At the University of Southern California, I received a Bachelor of Science in Arts, Technology, and the Business of Innovation with emphases in interactive media and visual and cultural communication. I also had a minor in East Asian Languages and Cultures. Starting this fall, I will be pursuing my MSc in Social Science of the Internet at the University of Oxford.
Having lived in Germany as a child, studied abroad in the United Kingdom, and conducted research in Japan, I am passionate about different global perspectives and bringing people together through good design. I am constantly looking to push boundaries of interdisciplinary innovation, especially with my coursework in interaction design. I am interested in how storytelling, especially in video games, can play a larger impact on society and the global community.
I am extremely interested in the role that interactive media can play in making academic research more engaging and accessible. Read more about my senior thesis here and download my toolkit that walks academics through thinking about a paper visually here.
